The animal that ripped apart the three-meter-long man-eating shark has been named

Orcas reach ten meters in length and can easily handle fish of any size. In South Africa, they have so often massacred man-eating sharks that they are almost extinct. Orcas tore them apart, devoured the liver and did not touch the rest. Scientists believe that they were attracted to the substance squalene, which is contained in this organ.

Great White Shark, or man-eating shark, is one of the largest predatory fish in the world. On average, representatives of this species grow to 4.6-4.8 meters in length. They are considered the most dangerous shark species for humans.

Earlier in the Atlantic Ocean orcas attacked a ship and disrupted the race on sailing yachts The Ocean Race. For 15 minutes the whales pushed the hull of the ship and swam around it.
